Ellie Tessa Godworth is a Melbourne-based artist with a practice that sits at the intersection of craft and contemplative, contemporary sculpture. Exploring the boundary between reality and fiction, her work weaves precious and found materials into immersive compositions that open sensory spaces of harmony, ambiguity, and potential. Blending the tangible and imagined, the work invites reflection of the material object’s role in both personal and transcendent narratives.
Beginning her training in gold and silversmithing at the Enmore Design Centre in 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Honours from RMIT and is currently pursuing a PhD, supported by an RTP Scholarship, at RMIT’s School of Design and Social Context.
